hello there, I'm Gordalme Cross, the author of The Journey We’ve Faced, a poetry collection that pieces together a journey of faith, mental health, and life from the perspective of a girl in her teens. ​A little bit about me: My real name is Issabella Shaw. I was born on May 7th, 2003, and grew up in the great state of New Mexico. Christmas Huevos Rancheros, anyone? I spend most of my days writing (or putting off writing) and prefer a peaceful forest over...well, most things. I'm also happily married to my husband, Ayddin, who is a pilot, and together we share our hearts and home with a mismatched pair of pups.

At the center of everything I create is my faith in Jesus. He is the heartbeat behind my writing, my podcasting, and my everyday life. (1 Peter 4:10)

Speaking of podcasts… I also host Day Thoughts, where I like to ramble on about subjects involving faith and apologetics. My listeners enjoy challenging their perceptions (like, how could a loving God allow His creation to suffer?) and exploring how faith meets real life.
