hi! I’m Bella Shaw—though if you’ve read my work, you might know me better as Gordalme Cross (thought I was blonde? It was a phase) I’m the author of The Journey We’ve Faced, a raw and redemptive poetry collection that speaks the words so many of us feel, but rarely say out loud.

​I was born and raised in New Mexico—the Land of Enchantment, or so they say—Christmas Huevos Rancheros, anyone? I'm also happily married to my wonderful husband, Ayddin, and we share our hearts and home with our scrunchy basset hound, Mr. P (short for Perfection, obviously).

At the center of everything I create is my faith in Jesus—He is the heartbeat behind my writing, my podcasting, and my everyday life.

Speaking of podcasts…I’m the host of Day Thoughts, where we dive head-first together into controversial topics like Christianity & apologetics (defense of the faith). We discuss difficult questions about God, how faith meets real life, and explore other spiritual truths, following wherever the Holy Spirit leads—no sugarcoating. My recent "Loving You" series was a vibe—real talk, amazing guests, and the kind of encouragement your soul didn’t know it needed.
